The winery concentrates on red wines. Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinotage are thus planted in the very sandy earth. Only hand-selected red grapes from vineyards on the farm are used for the wines. To ensure that every wine reaches the peak of perfection, all the wines are matured between 12 and 24 months in oak barrels. A small production of ± 12 000 cases per year ensures attention to detail.
A priority is foliage management: the sand soil reflects the sunlight against the grapes and the team therefore guards against removing too much foliage as the foliage protects the grapes and inhibits the alcohol level through less sun exposure.
