Although our crops were significantly smaller than last year due to a variety of climatic conditions during the growing season, as well as some baboon damage courtesy of our hairy neighbours living in the mountains next to the vineyards, we are happy about the abundance of flavours in all the wines and exceptional colour intensity on the red varietals. |

By the time you are reading this, we will probably be finished pruning our vines, and they will be in the middle of their resting period. And a well deserved resting period it is, as 2009 was an excellent year for the production of both our white and red wines.
